Registration
Before you can access the online database you will need to register on the GMTU website:

www.gmtu.gov.uk/registration/register.aspx

The system will only accept registrations using an email address in an approved domain e.g. oldham.gov.uk, gmp.police.uk, urbanvision.org.uk (If your email address is rejected then please contact GMTU).

If you register successfully, the system will generate a password and email it to you. A contact in your authority will get a copy of the email (as will Peter Bearon of GMTU).

You can then use your email address and password to login to the system by going to:

www.gmtu.gov.uk/gmaccidentsplus

Passwords
Your password will expire every 90 days – this is to hinder password sharing. When you try to login after your password has expired you will be prompted to generate a new password. You will then be sent an email containing a password that will last another 90 days. Note that you will not be able to change your password.
